Welcome!
We are a non-profit, parent-cooperative school for young children. Our school offers a balanced program, celebrating the development of the whole child. We emphasize activities which promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and contribute to the child’s self-esteem and awareness of others. Our children learn through free play as well as organized activities and special projects. They enjoy experiences in art, music, movement, science, number awareness, and language development.
TCNS is a parent-cooperative school with a focus on play-based learning and community.
Classes & Programs
We offer flexible programs for toddlers and preschoolers. Choose from half-day preschool for ages 3-5, or extend their day to 4:45 pm. Our toddler program (18 months to 3 years) also offers half-day or extended-day options. Plus, our fun summer camp keeps the learning and play going, with themed weeks available in both half-day and extended-day formats.
Toddler Stay & Play
Toddlers and their caregivers can join us on Wednesday mornings twice a month at 8:30 in our community room for Toddler Stay & Play. Ms. Jackie will have story time with songs, and crafts designed especially for children between 1-3 years of age. If you have any questions, please call us.
